History
ALBERPLÁS - Indústria de Plásticos, S.A., located in the Industrial Zone of Albergaria-a-Velha, began its activity in 1992. Today it is the country's largest producer of plastic bags.
This unit is housed in a building of around 45,000 m2, with around 20,000 m2 of covered area, equipped with modern extrusion, printing and cutting equipment, the production of which is essentially destined for the industrial, distribution, commercial and service sectors.
All our industrial activity is supported by modern laboratories, where both raw materials and finished products are regularly tested.
Inherent in the high technical level of its facilities and equipment, which enables it to achieve high quality standards in the products it produces, the following products deserve special mention:
- Bioriented Polypropylene Films (BOPP)
- Bioriented Polyethylene Films (BOPE)
- Co-extruded multilayer films for food contact
- Co-extrusion shrink sleeves and bags for palletizing
- Stretch-Hood sleeves for palletizing
